Depleted Uranium oxide is used as a colorant to produce a bright green to bright yellow glass. The amount is so tiny that it is exempt from the NRC CFR Part 40 rules.
Depleted Uranium Oxide is slightly radioactive and emits mainly low levels of alpha particles.
