For professional use as as a focal point in stained glass windows and panels.

6" by 4" turtlebacks sold on an individual basis. Prices are for untrimmed slabs. A bandsaw is HIGHLY recommended.. Cutting to your spec. is possible.

These are flat backed slabs for the time being. I will be making hollow backed ones Feb.14

Flashing thickness will usually vary from 1/8" to 3/16". Occasionally I make some up to 1/4" which may require beveling the web if used in leaded window work. If edge thickness is critical please say so. Trimmed, they will weigh a little over 1 pound each.

I have divided them up into Stock repeatable colors and Curious one of a kind slabs that may or may not be repeatable.

Matte Lustre will be offered in the future.

Tiffany Comets and 2" rounds towards the bottom are SOLD OUT until next melt.

After 10 years of experimenting I discovered the Lost Secret formula for Tiffany True Dichroic. (not the artificially vapor coated glass which is incorrectly called dichroic) I have also made sheet glass which matched the original perfectly, reflecting green and transmitting red. I will be making small sheets of this glass before summer.

These would also work well mounted as paperweights.

Flat backed, it weighs about one pound.

This reflects blue and green light and lights up BRIGHT RED, as well as having an iridescent surface.

This is a pure silver bearing glass, which has a flame reduced surface. Flame reducing it while is is still semi molten brings some silver to the surface resulting in the metallic iridescent colors.

This is a touchy, precarious, process and every one of these that survives it is unique.

MULTICOLOR TRANSLUCENT SILVER BLUES,YELLOWS,GREENS. VERY UNIQUE. May be repeatable somewhat.

In reflected light, they all have slightly silvery sheen to them.

This reminds me of an aerial view of the Florida Keys at Key West or of the planet earth.

These transmit both blue and purple/ red light depending on the thickness and type of striking done to them.

They are very metallic, multicolored, iridescent. They are flame struck while still partly molten, a precarious process. Every one is unique and difficult to photograph.

Tiffany 4" Comet Jewels. Untrimmed slabs. The molds for these were made from an actual Tiffany jewel.

These are left with the full flashing on them so they are usable for 3.5" to 4.5".

These were all photographed in sunlight and the edges photographically cropped .
